Mason Valley Country Club, Yerington
The original 9-hole layout has recently been expanded
to 18, with a challenging, yet rewarding series of new fairways.

State Park, Silver Springs
Boating, jet skiing, water skiing, fishing for white
bass, walleye and catfish, camping and picnicing abound at this versatile
recreation area.
Mason Valley Wildlife Management Area, Yerington
Home to trout & bass fishing, as well as duck,
goose and deer hunting and wildlife viewing opportunities in the heart
of beautiful Mason Valley. The Nevada Dept. of Wildlife operates a fish
hatchery here where fish are raised to stock waters all over the state.

Walker River, East & West Forks, Yerington & Smith Valley
Trout fishing and wildlife viewing in some of the most
scenic areas of the state, including Wilson Canyon with its majestic rock
walls & quiet fishing holes.
Wilson Canyon, between Yerington & Smith Valley
Hike through a canyon cut by the West Walker River
over millions of years. You can walk along the banks of the river for
an afternoon of exercise wildlife viewing and relaxation. Wilson Canyon
also has a great off-roading area. There are many miles of trails for
dirt bikes and atv's. There are also several excellant camping areas.
